- Ingredients :
- 2 medium oranges (whole, unpeeled)
- 200g ground almonds
- 150g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp orange blossom water
- 1 tbsp honey (optional, for glaze)
- Orange zest (for garnish)

- Boil the oranges (whole, unpeeled) in water for 30–40 minutes until soft. Drain and let cool.
- Cut oranges into pieces (remove seeds) and blend into a smooth purée.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round baking tin.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the orange purée, ground almonds, baking powder, and orange blossom water. Mix gently until combined.
- Pour into the tin and bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
- Allow to cool before brushing with honey or orange syrup.
- Garnish with orange zest or slivered almonds before serving.
